Radiant Barrier Installation - Cypress Creek
Two-story home with a dark shingle roof and ductwork running through the vented attic. Summer afternoon attic temps hit 148 degrees, and the AC ran 14 hours daily. We installed Owens Corning radiant barrier foil across the rafter bays, reducing radiant heat transfer into the attic space. Attic temperature peak dropped to 112 degrees. Wall Insulation - Cedar Park Town Center
1950s pier-and-beam home with empty stud cavities, original plaster interior and aluminum siding exterior. Owner couldn’t fathom tearing off either surface. We drilled strategic access holes at the top and bottom of each bay, dense-packed Rockwool mineral wool into the walls, then patched and matched the plaster. No siding removed, no interior demolition. Thermal imaging showed a 23-degree surface temperature improvement on the north wall in January.
